Domestic or municipal wastewater is that which is generated from households, Hotels, commercial and institutional Facilities in the urbanized areas. Extended Aeration STP:

Membrane Bioreactor (MBR):
A membrane bioreactor combines conventional activated sludge with micro membranes to produce a high-quality effluent. MBR has two separated mediums, that the membranes reside in the mixed liquor rather than polishing secondary effluent. This positive barrier between the mixed liquor and the permeate leaving an MBR allows an MBR to operate at higher mixed liquor concentrations than conventional activated sludge. Higher mixed liquors lead to one of MBR technologies biggest advantages which is small footprint. Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR):
A biological technology used for wastewater treatment process which is suitable for municipal or industrial application. MBBR technology offer an economical solution for wastewater treatment. MBBR technology use the moving bed biofilm reactor in the STP tank to increase the surface area where biological organisms thrive. MBBR wastewater treatment system enables efficient results of the disposal using low energy. The technology is used to separate organic substances, nitrification and denitrification. MBBR design is made of an activated sludge aeration system. The sludge is collected on the plastic carriers which have a large internal surface area. The surface area in the carriers optimizes the contact of water, air, and the bacteria.
